In 1909 the Weleski brothers decided to venture into the business world as independentent Teamsters. The brothers expanded the business until the Great Depression adversely affected commerce and halted growth. The business rebounded as the economy recovered and Weleski Transfer again began to operate. The three brothers used their knowledge and experience in the business of hauling commodities of a varied nature in and around the Alle-Kiski Valley area of Western Pennsylvania, and continued to evolve and grow.

In the 1940s Weleski Transfer began to specialize in the hauling of household goods. At this time Andrew Weleski was leading the business and the first of the next generation was to be introduced in the person of Anthony Weleski. The business prospered through the 40s 50s and 60s as a local household goods mover. In 1963 Weleski Transfer became an agent for Atlas Van Lines and began to haul household goods greater distances and across state lines. Early in 1970, the third generation started in the business when Gary Weleski joined the company in a full time capacity. It was during this time that Weleski Transfer expanded significantly in the area of long-distance household goods moving services with emphasis on corporate and private party relocation.

From a small, local family business with a single truck, Weleski Transfer, Inc. has grown to one of the most significant, respected and trusted national relocation service companies in the industry. At Weleski Transfer, Inc. everyone understands where we came from and what business qualities and values permitted our growth. We are committed to the continuation of the successes of Weleski Transfer, Inc. and pledge to the concept of providing unequalled customer service to our valued clients.
